We have our own state-of-the-art blood machine which enables us to have results within the hour for the majority of conditions. We use blood tests to diagnose various conditions including liver disease, myopathies (tying up) and peritonitis amongst many others. The ability to have results within the hour allows us to direct the most appropriate treatment and removes much of the stress for owners having to wait days for results.
We also have full urine analysis capabilities and a microscope for assessment of skin samples or aspirates.
