Field Equine Vets was established in 2016 at a purpose built clinic in Blakedown, Worcestershire.
Since then we have grown significantly, as an independent first opinion Equine Practice, gaining an excellent reputation in local area for our first-class, high-quality animal care. We see a wide range of horses, ranging from elite competition horses to field companions, as well a number of smallholding animals such as alpacas, sheep, goats and pigs.
In 2024 we were the winners of the Equine Veterinary Practice of the Year at the prestigious Equine Business of the Year Awards and have been nominated twice in the Horse and Hound Equine Vet of the Year awards, winning it in 2019.
Currently, 7 veterinary surgeons work in the practice, supported by over 8 nursing, stable and administration staff. We have a fully qualified Equine Veterinary Nurse in charge of our nursing team and the rehabilitation facility.
