Welcome to New House Farm - Our Purpose built clinic

With our purpose-built clinic designed specifically for Field Equine, we are equipped to provide a wide range of examinations and procedures right on our premises. Our comprehensive facilities include stabling, menage, stocks, trot-up area, and weighbridge, ensuring that we can efficiently conduct tests and obtain results without delays. Additionally, we have an onsite laboratory providing full lab testing for blood tests, respiratory samples and other body fluids, allowing for same day diagnostics for the majority of tests we perform. Moreover, our clinic boasts a spacious 50m school where we can conduct thorough lameness examinations.

To ensure the highest standards of care, we consistently invest in state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment equipment. We also prioritize continuous professional development (CPD) to enhance our knowledge and stay up to date with the latest advancements in equine research.

Our on site water rehabilitation centre was opened in 2024 and has a state of the art water treadmill facility that is used by many horses, ranging from elite eventers through to laminitic ponies.

Menage

We have a 50m all weather school providing an excellent surface to see horses lunged and ridden as part of our orthopedic assessments.

Weighbridge

All patients on arrival at the practice are weighed on our weight bridge. This allows accurate dosing of medication and forms an essential part of clinical health assessments. The weight bridge is available for all clients to use. If you wish to bring your horse into the clinic to be weighed call the office on 01562701334 and we can arrange a suitable timeslot to do so.

Trot Up Area

We have a 50 metre long hard trot up, essential for dynamic assessment of orthopaedic cases and allows full utilisation of the Equinosis gait tracker to assess lameness.

Rehab Center and Water Treadmill

In 2024 we opened our water treadmill facility in the building adjacent to our veterinary clinic. Since then we have expanded to include a therapeutic laser, cold therapy and offer a range of residential rehabilitation packages to assist the management of a range of orthopaedic conditions.
