Keeping accurate health records of our patients is very important, and measuring their weights regularly is a very useful way to keep a track of their wellbeing. Whether it is to determine the correct dose of a wormer or medication, or whether it is for interest as part of a diet programme, we weigh many horses daily. Whenever horses come into our practice they are weighed and a record kept on their clinical notes.
